Why You Should Get Involved In Your Pod’s Pack

If you’re interested in getting involved in your Pod community, volunteering on packing day is a great way to lend a helping hand.

Not only will your Pod Leader value the extra support, being a part of the packing process also provides a great opportunity for you to socialise with fellow Members and experience the behind-the-scenes of how a Pod operates.

From weighing potatoes to bagging mushrooms – there is plenty you can do to help speed up your Pod’s pack. If you’ve ever considered running your own Pod, it’s also a great way to understand the process and get a taste for what the role involves.

Plus, as a bonus reward for your time and effort, you’re guaranteed first pick of weekly food freebies. There’s always extra produce for you to take home, and some Leaders even surprise their Members with little gifts, bakery treats or cash reimbursement.

To get involved, simply reach out to your Pod Leader. Whether you’ve only got an hour to spare or are free from morning ‘til noon, they’ll happily add you to the roster!

If you have any other ideas for how you could get involved in the Minifarms community, we’d love to hear from you. Contact your Pod Leader to have a chat. We always appreciate your support!
