Wake-me-up Mocha Smoothie


Need breakfast? Need some coffee? Why not have both! Watch out! ? This extremely delicious smoothie packs a punch sure to wake you up!!


Medjool dates, real cocoa, coffee, and banana...wowza!

What you need:

  • ½ cup brewed coffee, chilled

  • 1 cup milk (any milk works for this – we used oat milk)

  • 2 tbs Dutch cocoa powder

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 medjool dates

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup ice

  • Honey to sweeten if needed

  • Optional: 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

Method:

  1. Blend all of the ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth.

  2. Sweeten as desired and add in a scoop of protein powder to enjoy this smoothie as breakfast!
